My boyfriend and I had a staycation this past weekend in Bloomington and we usually find places neither of us have eaten at and Truffles restaurant didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere and experience. Our Bonvia Moscato was one of the best we've had by far. Our appetizer was portobello mushrooms in white truffle oil with herbs and toasted bread. We both ordered the Waygu burger with fries. We'll definitely be back. Our waiter also made our experience really nice with his expertise and knowledge of selections.
Good food and service. Interesting art on the walls. Update been a few times always a great meal. Expensive yes but worth it. I've never left hungry. Never had a bad experience. I don't go often but when I do I always leave full relaxed and happy. Thank you everyone there for giving me such a pleasant meal.
It is a wonderful place for a special occasion and fine dining experience. Lovely decor, soft, perfect music choices, friendly people and excellent food. I could eat the pine nut crusted goat cheese everyday for the rest of my life and never grow tired of it. It was incredible. I look forward to going back for another special occasion.
Truly excellent food and wine. Large wine list by the glass and bottle. Great cocktails. The food is inspired. The menu is not broad but has a good selection of steak, fish, and chicken. Service is excellent. It is upscale dining in a casual setting. Don't be fooled by the strip mall exterior.
This was a fine dining experience! We started with the roasted feta dip that came out sizzling. They have a wonderful regular menu and an intriguing specials menu. The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for special occasions.
Our new favorite restaurant in town! The food is five stars and the service is five stars. We always love their caesar salad and the mushroom truffle soup. This time we had the chicken and the filet which were so good! The head chef walked around and introduced himself, we enjoyed chatting with him for a few minutes. A great experience overall and we will be coming back again and again.
I had to write a positive review for the wonderful experience we had at Truffles. Although the restaurant is somewhat dated, and located in a strip mall, our food and service were above and beyond! Our daughter decided to have a courthouse wedding on short notice. Truffles accompanied us with a private room for our party of eight, and a prix fixe menu. What I was most impressed about was that I had changed a choice our menu at the last minute. When we arrived, there was our revised choice of duck on our menu! I couldn’t believe it! From the moment I called, Makenzie handled our requests professionally. The manager went above and beyond describing various options. Our server Jill was very kind. Our food not only looked fancy, but tasted delicious! It was a memorable day for our daughter’s wedding!
I stopped in for a drink with a friend after the opera last weekend. My whiskey sour was perfect, and the order of fries we shared was fantastic! Service was friendly and fast. Excellent!!
